Granules are not all alike. Sugar crystals, soluble coffee granules and seasoning blends vary in particle size, density and flow. Volumetric cup dosing can be assessed for a consistent, free-flowing product; a weighing approach may be considered when portion accuracy or material variation calls for it. The choice is confirmed with your samples and target weight.
Product movement matters from the hopper to the finished stick. Bridging, segregation, static and breakage can affect filling consistency. Fine particles on the sealing area, as well as the material's sensitivity to moisture, influence the feed arrangement, film selection and sealing trial.
Single-lane and multi-lane layouts are planned against required output, stick size and available floor space. Coding, inspection, counting and downstream collection can be considered as part of the line after the granules, pack and production target are reviewed together.

Formats
Stick width and length, target weight, seal layout and lane count are defined from the granules and finished-pack brief. Single-serve sticks can be evaluated for soluble coffee granules, crystalline sugar, salt and granular seasonings.
Tell us whether sticks will be sold individually, grouped in strips or collected into cartons. Particle behavior during filling and the intended downstream handling both influence the final format.
Laminates
Heat-sealable films are evaluated for product compatibility, moisture barrier, seal strength and distribution conditions. Granules and fines in the sealing zone can affect the result, so a suitable laminate cannot be selected from appearance alone.
If you have a proposed film, send its specification and a roll sample with your product. Seal integrity, film tracking and machinability should be confirmed in a trial before the final structure is agreed.
